Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

The Belgian Grand Prix is held at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, which is located in the Ardennes region of Belgium. The circuit is one of the most challenging and demanding on the Formula 1 calendar, and is known for its high-speed corners and long straights.

History

The first Belgian Grand Prix was held in 1925, and has been held at Spa-Francorchamps since 1983. The circuit has undergone several modifications over the years, most notably in 1979 when it was shortened to improve safety.

Layout

The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is 7.004km long and features 20 corners. The most famous corner on the track is Eau Rouge, a high-speed uphill right-hander that is taken flat out by Formula 1 cars.

Belgian Grand Prix 2023

The 2023 Belgian Grand Prix will be held on August 27th. The race is expected to be one of the most exciting of the season, with several drivers in contention for victory. Max Verstappen will be looking to defend his title, while Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will be hoping to challenge him.
